Shillong 3 Nights + Cherapunji 1 Night + Dawki 1 Nights

Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. North, the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views.

Brief Itinerary

Day 1 : Guwahati to Shillong - Transfer & Sightseeing

Arrive at Guwahati Airport and drive to Shillong (140 km / 4 hrs drive approx). En route visit Umiam Lake. Check-in Hotel and after refreshment if time permits, we visit Cathedral of Mary , Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco

Day 2 : Shillong - Full day local Sightseeing

Shillong is famous for its clean steep streets, beautiful lakes, parks and of course the breathtaking waterfalls. So next day, we will take you out on a local sightseeing. Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Elephant falls, etc. are some notable sightseeing destinations. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 3 : Shillong to Cherrapunjee - Transfer & Sightseeing

After breakfast check out hotel and drive to Cherrapunjee (60 km/2 ½ hrs). Check in hotel and promptly visit Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls. After lunch at Cherrapunjee, visit Thankarang Park, Koh Ramhah. Overnight at Cherrapunjee. Note: Please note that all sightseeing is possible if time permits and all waterfalls are active during monsoon season.

Day 4 : Cherrapunjee to Shnongpdeng - Via Mawlynnong to Dawki

After breakfast check out hotel, drive to Mawlynnong (90 km/3 hrs). Reach Mawlynnong and visit Mawlynnong village (The cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong, is a pleasant place where you can visit and unwind. The rains bring out the luscious greens of the trees and forests. The gorgeous green grasses do bring out the beauty of the village.), living root bridge. Note: It is advisable to carry packed lunch to Mawlynnong. After lunch drive to Dawki (35 km/1 ½ hrs) and boating at Umngot river – the crystal clear water river.After that go to shnongpdeng village and stay there over night.

Day 5 : Shnongpdeng to Shillong - Via Krang Suri Falls - Laitlum Canyons

After breakfast we proceed to visit Krang Suri Falls. It is one of the best waterfalls in Meghalaya. You can also swim in a naturally formed pool here. You can also go behind the waterfall and see the water falling in front of you. then We Visit Laitlum Canyons for some breathtaking views. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 6 : Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Rly Stn - Drop

After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati airport / Railway Station for the onward journey.
